Title: Connected Vehicle Platoon Control: Theory and Experiments
Abstract:
In this talk, I will present our progress related to platoon control of connected vehicles (CVs). It includes single CV platoon and multiple CV platoons. For single CV platoon, we will first discuss the platoon control for CVs under the fixed or switching communication topologies. Then, we will discuss the braking control of CV platoon using the integral-sliding-mode method. For multiple CV platoons, we will discuss the consensus-based cooperative control for multiple CV platoons. Finally, I will show our experimental results for single platoon control of CVs in a closed real-world field.
