Dr. K. Reji Kumar Department of Mathematics, N. S. S. College, India
Biography: Dr. K. Reji Kumar, is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department, in the Post – Graduate Department of Mathematics, N. S. S. College, Cherthala, Kerala State, India. He has been very active in the field of mathematical research since 2004. His areas of interest are Discrete Mathematics and Graph Theory, Applications of mathematics in daily life, Modeling of Social networks, Social network analysis, Modeling of human consciousness, artificial intelligence, Mathematical modeling in life science, etc. He has published more than 35 research papers in various national journals, international journals, and international conference proceedings. He has obtained his Ph.D., in Discrete Mathematics from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu. He got the summer research fellowship of the Indian Academy of Sciences and did post-doctoral research in Indian Statistical Institute, at the Delhi center for a period two months, under the supervision of Prof. R. B. Bapat. He did post-doctoral research in the Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Victoria, Canada in the year 2008 after receiving the BOYSCAST fellowship of the Department of Science and Technology, India. He was a research associate at the Institute of Mathematical Science, Chennai, India (from 1st April 2014 to 3oth March 2017). He has Completed three minor/major research projects, funded by UGC and DRDO of India Government. Six students have completed their Ph.D. under his supervision on various topics in Mathematics.
