Title: A Moving Mesh Algorithm based Optimal Accurate Mesh Equidistribution Approach for Boundary Layer Originated Parabolic Systems
Abstract:
This talk will on the mesh equidistribution based numerical approximations and their convergence analysis for boundary layer originated singularly perturbed systems. Here we focus on the system of singularly perturbed problems for which classical methods on uniform meshes diverge. I shall start my talk with a small introduction of singularly perturbed problems and explain the difficulty of numerical analysis for these problems. Equidistribution based moving mesh algorithm will be also explained. Note that the mesh movement at every time steps, leads to the interpolation of the previous time solution for obtaining the present time solution. We have mainly used a modified backward Euler technique to obtain the stability in time. Thereafter I consider the optimal order convergence analysis of the numerical solution on the fully equidistributed meshes. Numerical experiment will be shown to explain the effective behavior of the present approach on moving mesh algorithm.
