| Biography: Pr. Dr. Saïd EL MADIDI obtained his DEA (Master) and PhD in Animal and Plant Genetic Resources at Paris XI University and a State Doctorat in Genetics from the Ibn Zohr University. He was appointed Professor of Genetics in 2003. He has more than 34 papers with many citations (citations in 630 articles listed by Academia (www.academia.edu) on (August 30, 2020), 491 citations and 4289 reads reported by researchgate in november 2020. (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Said_El_Madidi). He has supervised more than 15 master's and 6 doctoral students. He is a member of a co-authoring committee of several specialized scientific journals and he is reviewer for different international scientific journals such he is also a member on different editorial board for established journals as well as an peer reviewer for many different journals. He has presented 75 research papers in seminars, symposia and international conference. Pr. Saïd EL MADIDI, currently he is team leader of Biometrics and BioResources in the Biotechnologies and Valorization of Natural Resources (BVRN), Department of Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of Agadir. Currently is Research Project Leader: Variability in Drought Tolerance Analysis and Characterization of Genetic and Phytochemical Diversity of Accessions and Cultivars of Citrullus lanatus and Citrullus colocynthis and characterization of the variability and improvement of the productivity of local breeds of goats in the argan grove in Morocco.
