Title: Stability of semi-Markov switched stochastic systems
Abstract: 
In this talk, we first mainly introduce the background of our concerning questions, and some existing results on this topic. Then, we present the definitions and properties of semi-Markov process, as well as the model of semi-Markov switched stochastic system.  Finally, we introduce our main results and make some comparisons.
Biography: 
Quanxin Zhu received the Ph.D. degree from Sun Yatsen (Zhongshan) University, Guangzhou, China, in 2005. He is currently a distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor of Xiaoxiang scholars of Hunan Normal University, distinguished professor of Hunan Furong scholars, senior visiting scholar of German Humboldt Foundation, deputy director of Key Laboratory of computational and stochastic mathematics of Ministry of education, and senior member of IEEE. He  mainly studies the stability and control theory and application of Markov processes and stochastic systems, and has made a series of important progress. He has solved many open problems raised in international authoritative journals such as Siam J. Control Optim. He has published 200 SCI papers in international top journals of control theory, such as Automation, IEEE Transactions on automatic control, and has been cited by SCI for more than 4000 times. He won three consecutive years of highly cited scientists in the world from 2018 to 2020, the second prize of national teaching achievement award in 2018 (the fifth prize), the first prize of "University Natural Science Award" in Jiangsu Province in 2016, the list of Elsevier Chinese highly cited scholars from 2014 to 2019. He served as the ninth executive director of China Society of Engineering probability and statistics, member of system and control mathematics Committee of China Society of industrial and applied mathematics, lifelong member of China Society of industrial and applied mathematics, member of China Mathematics Society, member of China automation, member of TCCT control committee, member of TCCT random system and control group, editorial board member of 8 international journals, and member of 4 international journals Guest editor in chief of special issues of international journals.
